Quick Start

A value can be saved to the cache using only 2 lines of code:

   1:  //Create a client
   2:  MemcachedClient client = new MemcachedClient("127.0.0.1");
   3: //Create a cache entry on the server with the key "testKey" and the value "testData" that expires in 15 seconds.
   4:  ResponseCode response = client.Set("testKey", "this is some test data", DateTime.Now.AddSeconds(15));

This creates a syncronous memcached client with only one server (the local machine in this case). This example is using the built in ConnectionProvider with default values that allow for the greatest degree of compatability with memcached versions. It defaults to using the text based protocol over TCP on port 11211.

If that’s not enough for you, take a look at the intermediate usage page.
